Planar Announces Shipment of the Clarity RX-LED and Clarity RP-LED Video Wall Displays

Planar will begin shipping the Clarity RX-LED and Clarity RP-LED rear-projection display families in August 2010, which include 50” and 67” LED-illuminated XGA (RX-LED) and SXGA+ (RP-LED) resolution displays. Clarity LED Series rear-projection displays feature a maintenance-free LED illumination system utilizing Clarity NaturalColor™ technology which maps a broader color palette to content, producing saturated life-like colors.
The Clarity RX-LED and RP-LED products feature a 60,000 illumination lifetime, industry-leading screen design for seamless images while maintain front serviceability, and a unique auto color balance design, which optimizes color and brightness matching across the video wall. All Clarity LED Series displays are available in either Open System displays, compatible with third-party processing vendors, or Integrated System displays, utilizing Planar’s Indisys processing.
The Clarity RX-LED and RP-LED products join the c70HD-LED, a 70” 1920x1080 native resolution display, to round out the complete line of LED illumination rear-projection displays to suit the various needs and budgets of any video wall application.
